A serious incident occurred on Friday in southern Poland, when a 31-year-old man and his 26-year-old wife were shot dead by a 57-year-old man. The crime occurred inside a house in the village of Stara Vis, in the Limanowa district.
A woman who was also at the scene was seriously injured by the shooting, while searches are underway to find the perpetrator, who, according to police information, fled towards a forest.
Police sources quoted by Polsat News report that this is a family tragedy, as the victims were the perpetrator's son-in-law and daughter. The injured woman was probably the son-in-law's mother. There was also a one-year-old baby in the house, who was not injured.
A police spokesman has asked residents in the area to stay in their homes, as the wanted person "is likely to be armed, mentally unstable and dangerous."
