Rishi Sunak

Education Minister Nick Gibb has resigned and Health Minister Neil O'Brien has also asked to leave.

The Prime Minister of Great Britain Rishi Sunak is doing a reorganization of his governing cabinet. A few minutes ago, the dismissal of the Secretary of the Interior, Suella Braverman, became official.

According to Sky News, Education Minister Nick Gibb has resigned and Health Minister Neil O'Brien has also asked to leave.

In a post on X, Gibb writes that "over the last few weeks I have discussed taking on a diplomatic role after the general election. To do this, I have asked the Prime Minister if I could leave the government in the reshuffle and he has agreed." .

Gibb, who has worked on education in government for nearly a decade, added that it had "been a privilege to serve as minister".

"I campaigned for Rishi Sunak last summer and remain an enthusiastic supporter of the Prime Minister's leadership ," he said.

Health Minister O'Brien also wrote that "it has been a privilege to serve in the Ministry of Health".

We recall that British Home Secretary Suella Braverman was fired today by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak after criticism of the pro-Palestinian protests, which she said are disturbing.

It's the second time Braverman has been forced out of the same job in just over a year. Liz Truss ordered him to resign in October last year after just weeks in the job, for sending confidential information to an MP from a private email address.

The Home Secretary of the United Kingdom, Suella Braverman, after her dismissal, said that she felt privileged to have been Britain's secretary.

Braverman said he is waiting for the right time as he has more to say.

"It has been the greatest privilege of my life to serve as home secretary. I will have more to say in due course,” Braverman said.

Also, according to the report of the British newspaper The Sun, it is said that James Cleverly is the new Home Secretary of the United Kingdom.

Clerverly was spotted entering 10 Downing Street this morning after former Home Secretary Suella Braverman was sacked.
