9 people have lost their lives in a terrorist attack in Somalia.
It is learned that the incident took place at the Palm Beach Hotel in Mogadishu, where al-Shabab militants committed the terrorist act.
After a 6-hour siege on Friday evening, only 80 people managed to survive the attack. While three of the members of the security forces did not manage to escape the rescue operation.
The attackers were killed during the gunfight with the police officers. Witnesses recount the moments of horror they experienced during the terrorist act.
We recall that a few weeks ago al-Shabab militants killed dozens of soldiers from Uganda, who were part of the peacekeeping mission of the African Union.
