A crowd of angry survivors of Spain's floods hurled mud and hurled insults at Spain's King Felipe VI and government officials as they toured the cities hardest hit by the downpours.
Government officials accompanied the monarch, who tried to speak to locals on the outskirts of the devastated city of Valencia.

The police had to intervene with officers on horseback to hold back the crowd of several dozen people.
"Get out! Get out!” and "Murderers!" shouted the survivors at the king and officials.
After being forced to seek protection from the mud, the king remained calm and made several attempts to speak to individual residents. A person seemed to have cried on his shoulder. He shook a man's hand.
This was an unprecedented incident for a royal house that takes great care to create an image of a monarch that is liked by the nation.
Queen Letizia and Valencia regional president Carlo Mazón were also in the contingent.
More than 200 people have died in Tuesday's floods and thousands have had their homes destroyed by water and mud. At least 60 of the dead were in Paiporta, the epicenter of the suffering.
