In Gaza, every day is a fight for survival!
After the resumption of fighting in March 2025, Israel announced that it aimed to control 75% of Gaza within two months, forcing an estimated 2 million Palestinians to congregate in just 25% of the territory. The war has destroyed civilian infrastructure and caused over 53,000 Palestinian casualties.
On the other hand, Hamas has lost 60% of its arsenal, but has resumed the use of guerrilla tactics and regenerated its tunnel network.
Humanitarian crisis: Disease and misery
The Israeli embargo has caused food prices to rise by up to 1,400%, leading to a severe food crisis. On April 25, the World Food Program said it had distributed the last supplies, leaving thousands of people without food. According to UNRWA, over 66,000 children are suffering from malnutrition and others are starving.
The destruction of environmental infrastructure has led to water pollution and disease outbreaks, increasing the risk of epidemics spreading.
The people against the invaders and leaders
Since March 25, Gazans have been protesting massively against Hamas, demanding an end to the war and the removal of the current leadership. Hamas has reacted strongly after criticism from the leaders of the United Kingdom, France and Canada regarding Israel's actions in Gaza.
The whole world against the war in Gaza
At a summit in Madrid on May 25, Spain proposed recognizing a Palestinian state and imposing sanctions on Israel to stop the war. These measures include suspending the association agreement with the EU and banning arms sales.
On the other hand, US President Donald Trump has expressed his desire to end the war as soon as possible, but has avoided direct pressure on Israel. In Gaza, every day is a fight for survival. The Palestinian people are devastated, abandoned and forgotten. If the world remains silent, Gaza will remain an open wound in the heart of the Middle East.
