
A serious railway accident has occurred in Bulgaria, resulting in the deaths of two people and the injury of six others.
The accident occurred at around 4:00 p.m. on the outskirts of the Bulgarian capital. Lyubomir Nikolov, head of the internal affairs department, told the media that there were a total of eight people on board the two trains.
After the collision, one of the two trains caught fire, but the flames were quickly extinguished.
According to foreign media, Nikolov stated that the trains were moving on the same line, possibly due to an error in traffic management. According to him, one train was carrying metals and the other furniture.
