
A serious accident happened this evening in southern Turkey, where at least 10 people were killed and 39 others were injured.
According to media reports, an intercity bus collided with three other vehicles on a central highway. The news was also confirmed by Interior Minister Ali Gerlikaya.
The bus, which was traveling from Diyarbakır to Istanbul, collided with a truck and two other vehicles in the Tarsus region near the Mediterranean city of Mersin, the minister said in a post on X.
The government emphasized that it has launched an investigation into the exact causes of the accident.
