As the 42nd day of protests against the government and the political class continues on the boulevard in front of the Prime Minister's Office, an increased State Police presence has also been deployed in the area where the concert of American artist Kanye West is being held.

Hundreds of police officers, special forces, water tankers and other law enforcement vehicles have been deployed around the concert perimeter, while authorities have taken increased security measures to ensure the smooth running of the event and to avoid any incidents.

The measures come at a time when repeated calls have been made from the protest podium to boycott the concert. Protesters and activists have criticized its organization, claiming that the government has allocated around 4.2 million euros for the event, at a time when, according to them, citizens have been protesting for 42 days against misgovernment, corruption and the way public funds are used.

Precisely because of the climate created and concerns about a possible movement of protesters towards the concert area, the police have set up a special security plan, armoring the perimeter with numerous officers and specialized vehicles.

Meanwhile, the protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office continues with speeches and calls against the government, while the organizers have stated that their rally will remain peaceful and that the main demands remain the removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama and a change in the political system.
