The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, said that the prosecutor in Serbia has rejected the charges of terrorism against the 3 arrested policemen.
He said that NATO should judge Serbia's action and seek the restoration of security in the country. Kurti also asked to remove the status that allows the Serbs to have an army on the border line.
During the Prespa Summit in Struga, he thanked the US Department of State for the call made to Serbia for the release of 3 kidnapped policemen.
"I thank DASH for demanding the unconditional release of 3 Kosovo policemen. The policemen must return and then we need the international community to clearly judge the Serbian aggression in Kosovo. Because with the kidnapping of 3 policemen, Article 4 of the Kumanovo Agreement was violated in 1994, and I think that NATO should judge Serbia's action and I should demand that security be restored in this area. For the security of the Balkans, it is important to stop the status of the Serbian army around the border," Kurti said.
