The Italian authorities are alerted, the heads of the 'Ndrangheta, Camorra

The Italian authorities have been alerted by a photo that ended up in the media. It shows the heads of the 3 largest mafia groups having dinner together.

The British Daily Mail network writes that the heads of the Calabria-based 'Ndrangheta "mafia syndicate", those of the Camorra in Naples and Sicily's Cosa Nostra, were photographed together at the traditional garden dinner in April 2021.

The police report that this is not the only meeting of the current crime coalition in the north of Italy, which is constantly intercepted by prosecutors.

"Here we are in Milan," a senior Camorra official reportedly says at dinner, referring to their unusual location. "We are neither in Sicily, nor in Rome, nor in Naples, this is the place where we will do good things", it is further said.

While the suspected member of the Cosa Nostra group answers, among other things: "We have built an empire."

It seems the powerful criminal organization has put aside their rivalry to possibly create a super-alliance to take advantage of the "business opportunities" in the northern Lombardy region.

The mafia allegedly invested its profits in a wide variety of legitimate business areas, including fashion houses in Milan.

Italian prosecutors told the media that the organization has created a stable network of connections with local businesses and politics, serving the interests of mafias in Calabria, Rome and Sicily, writes the Telegraph network.

Although in the past their style has been one of bloodshed, executions and turf wars with each other, now they seem to be controlled by the 'same hand' and have chosen "collared" crime and corruption over armed clashes ordinary.

The Camorra and 'Ndrangheta are now among the world's largest criminal organizations with ties to international drug, arms and precious metal trafficking, prosecutors say.

Their profits are reinvested in legitimate companies, thus strengthening their influence.
