The Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban, stated that a change is necessary in Brussels, because, as he estimated, the current leaders of the European Union are not able to solve the situation in Ukraine, as well as the problem of migration.
Orban, who is attending the two-day EU summit, believes that a new strategy for Ukraine is needed, and therefore a change in EU leadership is needed, which he says could happen in the upcoming elections in The European Parliament, writes the MTI agency.
" In peaceful times, these would be good leaders, but where we are now... there are big waves, of course we will not succeed with the current (EU) leaders," he told Hungarian state radio .
Orban also pointed out that changes are needed in the EU regarding migration and economic policy because Brussels came up with "impossible proposals" for Budapest.
According to Orban, migration has brought terrorism, crime and conflicts from countries thousands of kilometers away from Brussels.
"Such conflicts have already reached the streets of major European cities ," he added.
