Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that victory in the conflict with Iran has opened up great opportunities for Israel, both militarily and diplomatically.
During a meeting with officers of the General Security Service (Shabak), Netanyahu said that the Israeli army confronted Iran while emphasizing that the victory deprived the enemy of its advantages. He added that the army has advanced in the field of defense and offense.
"I want to inform you that, as a result of this victory, new opportunities have opened up – first of all, for the release of the hostages," Netanyahu said.
Netanyahu stated that, apart from Iran, Israel is still committed to confronting Hamas and the situation in the Gaza Strip, describing the organization as a constant threat.
"I believe we will achieve both goals: resolving the Gaza issue and the final defeat of Hamas," he stressed.
The Israeli prime minister hinted that following this success, broader regional perspectives are also emerging, implying an opportunity for deepening cooperation with Arab states and progress in peace initiatives.
