Support for Donald Trump in the first 100 days of his presidency is the lowest for a president in the last 7 decades.
According to a CNN poll, Trump's approval rating is just 41%, the lowest for the first 100 days of a US president since the Eisenhower era. So Trump is performing worse than in his first term.
His job approval rating has fallen by 4 percentage points since March and by 7 since February. Only 22% say they fully approve of the way he is handling the situation, while 45% say they disagree with the way he is acting.
The president's approval rating among women and Hispanic voters has fallen 7 points, while support among independents has also fallen to 31%, a level similar to the lows of his first term.
Another poll by ABC News, the Washington Post and Ipsos also shows that support for Trump is at low levels, at just 39%.
Polls mention the concern of American citizens about Trump's economic policies, which have caused fears of a recession.
72 percent said they think it is very or somewhat likely that his economic policies will cause a recession in the short term.
73 percent said the economy is in bad shape, 53% said it has gotten worse since Trump took office, and 41% said their finances have gotten worse.
A majority of Americans (57%) also believe that Trump's diplomacy puts the country at risk. His foreign policy moves - including a friendlier stance toward Russia and a cut in foreign aid programs - are only approved by 39% of respondents.
