
Some users have encountered problems with WhatsApp Web on the morning of Friday, February 27, reporting difficulties mainly during the identification process and synchronization of conversations with their devices.
According to the Downdetector platform, which monitors online service outages, the number of reports of problems increased significantly around 09:00.
In parallel, many users turned to the social network X to share their experiences and signal difficulties in connecting to WhatsApp Web.
The messaging app has encountered technical issues before. In April last year, numerous users reported problems sending messages.
Also, on February 28th of last year, the platform experienced a global outage, during which over 5,000 reports of messages not being delivered were recorded.
