Milović and Mišurović discussed payments to executioners after the explosion in the center of Podgorica
Even 1,500 euros was enough to blow up a facility worth millions, while the clients often paid more, up to 2,500 euros, to carry out the attacks. This is evidenced by the communications on the decrypted Sky app between fugitive police officer Ljubo Milović and his colleague Miloš Mišurović, who, according to the Montenegrin Special Prosecution Office (SDT), were involved in illegal activities.
The talks take place at the end of January 2021, on the same day that an explosion destroyed the "Štrudla" bar in the center of Podgorica, Vijesti writes.
“I heard it explode from my bed,” Milović writes to his colleague who used the pseudonym “Globus.” He asks if the explosives were placed in front of the door or inside the bar, and Mišurović replies that he is not sure. “I don’t know, the agreement was inside… to break the glass, set the 2-minute fuse and throw it inside,” he writes.
They then discuss whether the perpetrators have returned to the shelter and whether everything went according to plan. A few hours after the explosion, it is confirmed that the device was thrown inside the bar and that it “destroyed everything.”
The conversation then turns to payment for the executors. Mišurović says that they had offered to carry out the action for free, but Milović objects: “We don’t discuss that… we’re not like that.” He asks how much is usually paid for such actions, mentioning that he had previously paid 2,000 euros for a similar case where the initial request was 1,500 euros. In the end, he says that he will give 2,500 euros, emphasizing that he doesn’t want anyone to be left unsatisfied.
The SDT indictment states that Milović prepared an explosive device with 500 grams of TNT, a detonator capsule and a slow-burning fuse, which he handed over to Mišurović and other accomplices. On January 27, 2020, at around 04:20, one of them placed the explosive device near the “Štrudla” bar, causing danger to the lives of citizens and material damage exceeding 240 thousand euros.
According to investigation documents, Milović had given Mišurović 4,000 euros, of which 2,500 euros were distributed to the people who carried out the attack.
The same indictment also mentions another case, where the same individuals are suspected of organizing the burning of a “Mercedes S AMG” vehicle. A payment of 2,000 euros was provided for this action, while the damage caused is estimated at over 21 thousand euros.
The prosecution links this case to a broader investigation into a group described as a "police drug cartel", composed of former law enforcement officials, suspected of involvement in organized criminal activities. /Adapted from Pamphlet /
