Snow covers Albania, ARRSH appeals to drivers: Equip yourself with winter tires and chains

The Albanian Road Authority has reacted regarding the rainfall situation in the country and the problems presented to drivers.

ARRSH announces that snowplows and maintenance workers have been on the ground without interruption on all problematic axes, while appealing to drivers to be equipped with winter tires and chains, in areas with snow and ice.

" Rainfalls of medium intensity have crossed the country, bringing stones and materials falling like in Skuraj-Burrel, which were immediately cleared by the work groups, preventing the creation of traffic difficulties.
In the northern area, there was snowfall with intensity and wind? ???as in Ura e Zapodit-Shishtavec in Tamarë-Vermosh, in Qafë Thore-Bogë, Klos, Peshkopi, Bajram Curri-Fierzë, in Tropoja.
In the morning also in Qafë Thane, the snowfall has started with moderate intensity. Snow removal vehicles and maintenance workers have been on the ground without interruption.
The roads are cleared of snow and traffic continues without problems. Drivers should be equipped with winter tires and chains when they travel to the segments with plugs "- announces ARRSH.
