A 2-story building was engulfed in flames on "Ali Pashë Tepelena" street in Memaliaj. According to preliminary information, the fire broke out in the early hours of the morning.
From the fire on the second floor, 3 apartments were completely burned, while 3 other apartments were partially affected by the flames.
The intervention of the fire brigade made it possible to put out the fire and save other apartments in the building. All residents of the building were evacuated until the end of the rescue operation.
Fortunately, no residents were reported injured by the fire.
The cause of the fire is suspected to be the heating equipment being left on at night.
