US President Donald Trump has responded to China, following accusations from Beijing over tariffs.
China accused Donald Trump of using tariffs “as a weapon.” A Foreign Ministry spokesman took to social media to share images of falling US stocks as well.
But Trump described his tariffs as an "economic revolution."
" China has been hit hard. They and other nations have treated us unsustainably badly. But not anymore. We are bringing back jobs and businesses like never before. Now, over five trillion dollars in investment and rapid growth ," Trump wrote.
He further described the tariffs as an economic evolution. According to him, the US will ultimately win.
" This is an economic revolution and we will win. It won't be easy, but the end result will be historic. We will make America great again ," he added.
Meanwhile, it's interesting that Trump doesn't seem to be "worrying" much about what he's causing. He was seen playing golf for the third day in a row.
He was seen on Saturday at his golf course in Jupiter, Florida.
Wearing his signature MAGA hat, he was photographed in his motorcade reading a tabloid article about China's response to his tariffs.
