Former Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin was all smiles despite the rainy weather as she married the heir to billionaire philanthropist George Soros in a lavish Hamptons ceremony attended by at least one former president and other prominent Democratic figures.
The 49-year-old bride looked radiant in an elegant cream-colored dress with exposed shoulders, floor-length and buttons down the back as she married the heir to financier Alex Soros, 39, exclusive photos to DailyMail.com show.
The custom Givenchy gown featured a delicate belt and olive branch embroidery, with the bride and groom's initials delicately woven into the design, according to Vogue magazine, which had a deal to cover the wedding.
Our exclusive photos show Abedin looking relaxed and happy as she greeted celebrity guests, including Vogue editor Anna Wintour, at the Soros family's sprawling 12-bedroom Hamptons estate in Water Mill.
Abedin was accompanied by her son, whom she has from her marriage to Anthony Weiner, 60, whom she divorced after he was imprisoned for sending sexual messages to a minor.
Weiner, who is trying to return to New York politics with a run for city council, is not thought to have attended the wedding.
Soros' 12-bedroom, 10-bathroom mega-residence was surrounded by tight security, including sniffer dogs and Secret Service agents guarding Abedin's former boss, Hillary, and former President Bill, who were driving down the house's long driveway in a convoy of blacked-out SUVs.
Former President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle were also on the guest list, according to Page Six.
George and Amal Clooney, as well as fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg and her husband, media mogul Barry Diller, were also thought to be among the high-profile attendees.
Dozens of luxury cars lined up to transport the couple's wealthy guests through the property's main gate.
Large white tents had been erected on the property, giving guests shelter from the rain and near-constant cold that threatened to overshadow the couple's special day.
But not everyone was in a festive mood for the wedding.
Locals claimed that residents were not notified in advance of the large-scale event, which prompted police to take action to manage heavy traffic along the road.
At one strange moment, a group of college students dressed in special costumes arrived near the property's main gate and took a selfie.
On Friday, the couple hosted a rehearsal dinner for dozens of family members and friends at the waterfront estate of Soros' mother, Susan Weber, on Shelter Island, in the exclusive enclave of Dering Harbor.

The guests were said to be in good spirits and some even joked about whether any Republicans would be invited to the Democratic party's wedding.
Soros and his father are among the most prolific fundraisers in the Democratic Party. Soros has been named heir to his father's $25 billion empire.
Abedin was one of Clinton's top aides during her tenure as Secretary of State during President Obama's first term.
She attracted attention when it was revealed that her husband, then a Democratic U.S. congressman from New York, had been texting nude photos to young women.
Weiner resigned from his position, but ran again in 2013 when it was again revealed that he had posted various sexual photos.
Abedin divorced him and he was sentenced to 21 months in federal prison and had to register as a sex offender.
Abedin and Soros met in the fall of 2023 at Nicky Hilton's birthday party and got engaged in New York City in May 2024.
