Geron Kamberi, international affairs expert, has analyzed the elections in the USA and the EU and how they can affect Europe and the Balkans. He analyzes that the growth of extremists in the European Parliament can affect the expansion process by having a direct impact on the Balkan region, taking into account foreign influences in the region.
"It remains to be seen how they will behave in government. One scenario is that they will not be able to face the challenges they will face, since next year it would significantly complicate the process that is taking place within the EU in relation to the expansion and conflicts in the region, especially in the Balkans", he said.
Kamberi also mentioned the effect that the election of the US president in November will have. According to him, the elections in the USA significantly affect foreign policy.
"In the case of the elections in the United States of America, we have a completely different situation because the election of a president who leads foreign policy creates many unexpected situations. And we have to wait for the result and how this new policy will appear", concluded Kamberi.
