However, according to Turkish media, the killer's motive is likely to be related to a bloody feud that began in Turkey in 2016.
The 27-year-old who was shot in Frankfurt on Tuesday night is said to be responsible for the death of one person. According to the Kurdish portal "Rudaw.net" and the Turkish newspaper "Sabah", the young man is said to have shot a businessman from Antalya in May, whom he blamed for the murder of his brother in 2016.
After the crime, the 27-year-old escaped to Germany. In Germany, the uncle of the businessman killed by Ankara finally tracked him down and shot him in Frankfurt Central Station.
According to the "Bild" newspaper, the 54-year-old suspect runs a snack bar in the Black Forest and has a residence permit in Germany.
