The relationship between Elon Musk and the government of Giorgia Meloni is intertwined on several levels, being strengthened in these two years, also because of the special connection with the prime minister. And also with Matteo Salvini.
A friendship that was born before the elections, when the owner of X, Tesla and SpaceX unleashed one of his social storms in May 2022 with a Tweet about the refugee crisis in Italy: "the biggest threat to civilization".
And that finds a common front in the 'war' against judges, especially now that the White House is run by Republicans. So much so that from Palazzo Chigi, after the phone call with Donald Trump, there was also a conversation with Musk.
On June 15, 2023, the fight against the birth rate is among the issues at the center of the first face-to-face meeting between Meloni and Musk.
