
Donald Trump's team is looking at plans to deport illegal immigrants to Rwanda, The Sun reports .
The scheme was drawn up by the previous British Conservative government but was scrapped by Sir Keir Starmer when he became prime minister. Trump allies said his team is considering deporting illegal immigrants in a number of countries, including Rwanda.
A source close to Donald Trump's camp said: “Trump campaigned on a promise to crack down on illegal immigration and he is determined to stick to it.
"His team is looking at Rwanda's scheme. He's considering deporting illegal immigrants to Rwanda and other countries so they can't stay on American soil."
Trump was declared the winner of the US presidential election promising to crack down on illegal immigration in America.
He accused Joe Biden and the Democrats of failing miserably to protect America's borders. The immigrant crisis has reached new heights in America in recent years.
