From Victoria's Secret to Mossad: the dark web that connected Epstein to billionaires and spies
Another wave of recently released documents is bringing to light a dark page of the international connections of Jeffrey Epstein, the American financier accused of sex trafficking, who was found dead in his New York jail cell in August 2019, under still suspicious circumstances.
According to an investigation published by InsideOver and Drop Site News, the links between Epstein and Israeli intelligence services, including Mossad, are much deeper than previously believed.
At the center of the investigation are hundreds of emails and documents obtained from Epstein's estate and from the hacked accounts of former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, which show that Epstein was more than a financial intermediary for Barak: he was a close friend, trusted advisor and collaborator on projects that had direct ties to Israel's national security.
Israeli spies in Epstein's New York apartment
The latest investigation has revealed that Yoni (Yehoshua) Koren, one of the highest-ranking officers in Israeli military intelligence (Aman) and a close associate of Ehud Barak, stayed for several weeks in Epstein's luxury Manhattan apartment, at least three different times - in 2013, 2014 and 2015.
At the time, Koren was serving as chief of staff in the Israeli Defense Ministry, and his visits to the US, according to Epstein's personal calendars, coincided with official trips related to defense and diplomacy.
Documents released by the US House Oversight Committee, obtained by the hacker groups "Handala" and "Distributed Denial of Secrets", confirm Koren's presence at Epstein's notorious Manhattan address.
From secret operations with Mossad to connections in Washington
Yoni Koren has had a long career in Israeli military intelligence, participating in joint operations with Mossad dating back to the 1980s. One of them aimed to kidnap members of the Palestine Liberation Organization during transits between Cyprus and Lebanon.
In the 1990s, Koren became Barak's chief of staff, when the latter was Chief of Staff of the Israeli Armed Forces (IDF), and subsequently accompanied him to every government post – from the Interior Ministry to the post of Prime Minister.
Even after Barack's retirement from politics, Koren remained his confidant in Washington, with direct contacts in the Pentagon and the CIA, including former director Leon Panetta and his advisor Jeremy Bash.
Hypothesis: Epstein as an intelligence instrument
One of the questions that arises today is: what was an Israeli super-spy doing in the apartment of a financier known for sex trafficking and connections to powerful figures?
The hypothesis that is gaining ground is that Epstein was connected to secret services, particularly the Israeli Mossad.
Former intelligence agent Ari Ben-Menashe has publicly stated that both Jeffrey Epstein and Robert Maxwell (Ghislaine Maxwell's father) were Mossad collaborators. According to him, Epstein used his residences filled with hidden cameras to collect compromising material on powerful politicians and businessmen - a sophisticated form of political and economic blackmail.
Financial track: Les Wexner, the bridge of power
Another key figure linking Epstein to Israel and the Israeli lobby in the US is billionaire Les Wexner, founder of "The Limited" and owner of brands such as Victoria's Secret and Bath & Body Works.
In the 1990s, Wexner gave Epstein general power of attorney over his entire fortune, which amounted to billions of dollars.
Epstein's magnificent Manhattan home, home to surveillance rooms and dozens of hidden cameras, was actually Wexner's property until 1998, when it was transferred to Epstein's company for a symbolic sum of... zero dollars.
This detail, along with the presence of Israeli intelligence figures in Epstein's inner circle, is increasingly strengthening the suspicion that the American financier was entrusted with a delicate role within an international network of influence, espionage, and political compromise.
A mosaic taking shape
After years of mystery, Epstein's suspicious death in prison and the institutional silence that followed, the pieces of the puzzle are starting to come together.
At their center lies a complex nexus between finance, power, intelligence, and blackmail, a structure that may have influenced American politics and international decision-making for decades.
The Epstein case is no longer just a sex scandal: it is turning into a geopolitical issue, where powerful state interests, intelligence networks and covert operations that cross the boundaries of any morality are mixed. /Inside Over
