Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered the head of the state defense conglomerate to increase production of attack drones during a meeting today.
In footage broadcast from the meeting, Putin is seen addressing the head of the organization, Sergei Chemezov, and asking him to increase production of Russian models of drones such as Kub and Lancet.
In a separate statement, Chemezov revealed that it will start production of MC-21 passenger planes by next year.
Putin, on the other hand, pointed out that Russian manufacturers can now occupy a gap in the market as foreign companies withdraw.
