A man has been arrested in France after allegedly keeping his wife locked up and isolated, abusing her, for more than a decade.
According to foreign media, the case was discovered this Monday afternoon, meanwhile, according to officials, no traces of blood were found in the apartment where the woman was kept. The woman, who was kept hidden in a room for 12 years, has no acute fractures or bruises, however, her physical condition is quite bad.
The suspected perpetrator is currently in custody and has been questioned by the police.
According to his testimony, he says that the woman was sick with cancer. Meanwhile, it is learned that it was the woman herself who was able to call the police and file a report.
Then the police went to the apartment and found him without clothes, hiding on the second floor of the apartment where they lived.
