"I earn over 50,000 pounds a year", the 20-year-old Albanian recounts

A 20-year-old Albanian who was involved in the trafficking of Albanian emigrants from Albania to Great Britain, has confessed how this activity takes place and the large sums of money he earns.

In an interview for the British media , he has shown that 200-500 Albanian immigrants can contact him per day to arrange illegal trips to Britain.

Introduced under the pseudonym Dini, the 20-year-old said that immigrants choose to travel to Britain because it is perceived as a rich country and that large sums of money can be earned, especially for those who want to work on cannabis farms.

" All the people love England because England has money. They come because they want to work in drug houses or because they have family members ," he said.

Among other things, he has shown that during the last year, the number of immigrants who started illegally towards Great Britain is about 6,000.

“I've never counted the number of people going to England, but it's high, maybe 6,000 last year. I have two roles. I take money from families of immigrants who have reached Britain and talk to clients on social media channels who want to go to England from Albania. I have contacts in England, who are my friends, and I talk to the Kurds in France who organize boat crossings", he said.

The young Albanian has further revealed that he became a smuggler while friends arranged crossings from Britain, and that he collected detailed personal information about migrants, which was used by Kurdish gangs to accurately identify paying customers and ensure that no one avoided the £4,000 travel fee.

Payment for the trip should be made only after the trip has been successfully completed, he said. Asked by the journalist how these payments were made, he refused to give details.

"I don't like to give too many details about the payment, " he replied. " I would not like to answer this question. My contacts in England are known. I would like to skip this part ."

Dini confessed that he communicates and announces the departure of immigrants on social networks, where he said there are three such. He stated that he has clients of all categories, including minor boys.

" From my accounts I make posts saying 'this day we will go by boat to England, write me for the details'. The videos go viral in no time and people start contacting me. I run three different profiles, one has 3,000 followers, one has 10,000 and the third has 11,000. I have clients from all categories, families, 16-year-olds and men who want to go to England to change their lives ", he stated.

Dini, who is in his mid-20s, claims he earns more than £50,000 a year from his smuggling business. According to him, most of the money received by immigrants goes to the Kurdish gangs that run the crossings from the coast of France.

The average salary in Albania is only £4,200 per year, he said, and as such he started dealing with trafficking.

" I can make good money with this job, but I know it's dangerous and I don't see myself doing this job for the rest of my life ," he said.

The Albanian trafficker admitted that criminal prosecution by the authorities was a risk, the fear that worries him, according to him, is revenge from the families of those he trafficks if the worst happens.

" If something goes wrong on the boat, it's a big problem for me, because if a person dies, his family will try to find me. Those families can kill me and say 'you did this to my child'", he says. This has never happened before, at least for me, but one day it might. There is a danger whenever they get on the boat because there are always more people than there should be. This type of business is very complicated. It is well organized, I am only a part of it. There are many people making decisions and organizing other details ," he said.
