Donald Trump is the new president of the United States of America.

But who will be his governing cabinet?

Donald Trump has made no secret of his enemies, who range from those "within" the US to foreign governments and institutions for which he has expressed disdain.

While it has not been officially confirmed who will take which job in the Trump administration, speculation and rumors have surrounded several figures for key positions in the new cabinet.

Cabinet names according to US media:

Mike Pompeo

Last month, Trump said he was considering four or five picks for defense secretary in an appearance on the Hugh Hewitt radio show.

One of them is former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who headed the CIA before serving as the former Trump administration's top foreign affairs adviser.

Pompeo considered running for president this year, but has since come out in support of Trump, most recently publicly endorsing him at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania on Monday.

In the previous Trump administration, Pompeo pushed for strong support for Israel. He is also an advocate for Ukraine, co-authoring a proposed "peace plan" for the country in the Wall Street Journal in July, which proposed "real sanctions on Russia" and sending essential weapons.

Richard Grenell

Grenell, the former acting director of national intelligence, was the first to react to Trump's victory.

The former US ambassador to Germany, Grenell has become an influential foreign policy adviser in Trump's entourage, continuing to meet with foreign leaders in support of the former president.

Earlier this year, he traveled to Guatemala, supporting right-wing efforts to block the inauguration of liberal president-elect Bernardo Arévalo on the grounds of voter fraud.

Trump has reportedly called the politician "my emissary" and he has been tipped to become the next secretary of state if Trump wins.

Elon Musk

Trump has heaped praise on the tech billionaire — and his substantial financial support for the Republican campaign.

Musk has called for drastic cuts in government spending, though he hasn't given specifics on where the ax will fall.

He also floated the idea of a new Department of Government Efficiency, which would be tasked with auditing the federal government and recommending reforms.

Trump said in his victory speech today that the CEO of X is the new star of the US, while apparently not ruling out the possibility that Musk would have an official role in the cabinet.

“[Musk] doesn't want to be secretary of something. I mean, I wish he would be honest with you ... but he's doing some other things," Trump said at a rally in Arizona.

However, he said he wanted Musk to have an unspecified role in his new government.

However, this week, Lutnick told CNN Musk would be "stuck" with the Trump administration.

"I think I stick with it and write software for the government and then give the software to the government and helping the government," Lutnick said.

"It's going to be amazing."

Mike Waltz

Waltz is another name Trump says he is considering for Defense Secretary, although US media reports also peg him as a contender for secretary of state.

The retired National Guard Special Forces colonel has often appeared on television endorsing Trump. Waltz has said he is open to the job, but is focused first on helping Trump win.

He has defended Trump on key issues, including his stance on Ukraine, which he has said the US should protect its border rather than provide more military aid to the war-torn country.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Kennedy seems to think he has an opportunity to have a role in a potential Trump administration.

At a rally this week, Trump told his former presidential rival that he would let him "do whatever he wants" with women's health care if he gets to the White House.

Despite this, senior members of the Trump campaign have ruled out Kennedy taking a job in the administration's health department.

However, the news has yet to reach Trump himself, as he said Kennedy would have a "big role in the administration." At his Madison Square Garden rally, Trump said Kennedy would be able to "go wild" on food and medicine if he won.

The anti-vaccine conspiracy theorist has claimed he is in communication with Trump and could have an influential role in a new administration, if not a government.
