Some details related to the contract that had to be signed by the 5 billionaires who lost their lives at the bottom of the ocean, in an attempt to see the wreck of the Titanic, have been revealed.
According to people who have tried the Titan submarine ride before, everyone had to sign a contract in which the company absolved itself of legal liability if something went wrong with the ride or someone was injured during it.
The tourists who had previously traveled with the small submarine Titan, have stated that in the contract signed by them, the word "death" was mentioned 3 times only on the first page, while the company gave almost no security for their lives!
Mike Reiss and Alan Estrada traveled to 2022 on the Titan submarine to see the Titanic. After last week's tragedy with 5 dead, they have already discovered the contract they signed before leaving at the bottom of the ocean.
“ I have signed that there may be failures that could cause injury or death. And that these were not the responsibility of the company. There I felt that I was risking my life ", said Estrada.
" It was a suicide mission and I was lucky to come out alive ," said the German, recalling the dangerous expedition.
According to people who have seen the contract and signed it, it clearly states that the experimental submarine has not been approved or certified by any regulatory body and could cause physical injury, emotional trauma or death.
It is still not known how this company was able to operate for so many years without any safety certificate, but with the fatal accident that happened a week ago, it is finally at risk of closure.
