Israel's prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has warned Hezbollah, which is Lebanon's most powerful military force, against opening a second war front with Israel.
"He would make the mistake of his life if he got involved ," Netanyahu said, when he spoke to Israeli troops near the border with Lebanon.
He said he would bring Israeli counterattacks of unimaginable proportions that would wreak havoc on Lebanon, writes the BBC .
Israel and the US have already warned Iran-backed Hezbollah, which has been designated a terrorist organization by the UK, US and other countries, against opening another battlefront on Israel's northern border.
