The Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the Bundestag, deputy Michael Roth, has said that Serbia is increasingly resembling an authoritarian regime.
Through a post on the "X" platform, Roth shared a video where the voice of the Serbian president, Aleksandar Vučić, was heard in one of the Belgrade squares through loudspeakers.
"Serbia sounds more and more like an authoritarian regime. President Vucic delivers a speech on the national holiday, broadcast live through loudspeakers in Belgrade's main square. Dear friends in the European Union and the USA, tell me if this happens in any other democracy," wrote German MP Michael Roth.
The European Parliament has adopted a resolution requesting an international investigation into possible manipulations of the December 17 elections.
Serbia sounds more and more like an authoritarian regime. President Vučić held a speech on National Statehood day, broadcast live over loudspeakers at Belgrade's main square.
