Today marks six months since Hamas launched its attacks on Israel on October 7. Since then, tens of thousands of people in Gaza have been killed and more than 100 Israeli hostages remain trapped inside the besieged strip.
To mark the anniversary, thousands of protesters have gathered in Tel Aviv, calling for immediate elections in Israel and the release of all hostages.
Some held signs calling on the Israeli government to do more to bring them home, while others held signs reading "Half a year of hell."
Netanyahu's positions have been shaken recently, especially after the UN voted on the resolution condemning Israel's actions in Gaza. Also, the killing of 7 employees of the charity organization has brought a great international reaction against Israel. Countries like Britain, France and the USA are under pressure to stop selling arms to Israel, a pressure that has then been transferred to Netanyahu, who has been forced to sit down at the negotiating table again.
