The company "Millennium Team" imports military trucks disguised as construction machinery to Serbia through Port Bar. It is known as a company close to the regime in Belgrade and is often favored in numerous state tender procedures.
For several weeks, more than 20 trucks imported by the Serbian company "Millennium Team" have been blocked in the customs area of the Port of Tivar, for which sources of the Montenegrin newspaper "Pobjeda" assert that they are military vehicles, or rather missile launchers from which the ditches have been removed.
The customs administration informed that the blocked vehicles were declared to the customs body as construction machines. In order not to stand out, the vehicles are painted yellow on the outside, while the interior remains green, the so-called SMB used by the military. It has been confirmed by the Customs Directorate that the vehicles are blocked in the port of Tivari.
" Regarding the issue related to the vehicles brought into the Port of Tivar, we emphasize that they have not been released into free circulation, nor is there any intention to put them into free circulation in Montenegro. Given that the vehicles in question have been reported to customs as construction machinery, the customs authority has requested the submission of additional documentation related to the type of goods and their final purpose ", says the response of the customs authority in Tivar.
Meanwhile, according to unofficial information, the vehicles have received permission to continue their journey to Serbia. From confidential sources it became known that the vehicles were imported from China (Shanghai) through the Serbian company "Millennium Team".
Millennium team's response
The Serbian company "Millenium Team" replied that this company "is in the process of purchasing and importing construction machinery and trucks from the Republic of China for the construction of Expo 2027".
It is about 24 machines, of which 20 are already in Serbia, while the remaining four tractors and cranes are expected to finish the regular customs procedure. This company has emphasized that "the mentioned device is not for military use, but exclusively for civilian use".
The sources for 'Pobjeda', however, are skeptical and are not sure that the shipment arrived from China at the Port of Tivar for the Serbian market is really civilian.
The Montenegrin authorities should have been much more careful, especially given the fact that Serbia is again a threat to the stability of the entire Western Balkan region and the president of this country, Aleksandar Vučić, has repeatedly threatened with additional armaments.
A few days ago, the Serbian president - after appointing Miloš Vučević, the official president of Vučić's Serbian Progressive Party - said that Serbia is "in a specific position because" they are "the only ones with neutral military status in this part of the Region".
He said that more is being invested in the army than ever before and announced that on April 20, the effect of domestically produced drones will be demonstrated at the training ground in Pešter.

Serbian media write that the owners of this company - Ivan Bošnjak and Stojan Vujko are loyal people of Vucic, but also that they are only formal owners.
The "Millenium Team" was founded in early 2003 as a company for the trading of food products and waste, while today it receives numerous contracts through concessions and contracts for roads, housing and the construction of state institutions.
