The United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia have reported attacks from Iran today, according to official statements from the defense ministries of both countries.
The United Arab Emirates' Ministry of Defense announced that its air defense systems have confronted at least 25 drones and four ballistic missiles launched by Iran.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia announced that it had shot down at least five drones in the eastern part of the country, through a series of social media posts from its Ministry of Defense.
The attacks come at a time of high tensions in the Middle East, where Iran has been involved in military actions against regional actors in the context of the developing conflict.
The expansion of strikes towards Gulf countries is seen as an escalation of the security situation in the region, raising concerns about a wider conflict.
