The Greek Parliament has made a historic decision by approving the draft law on same-sex marriages.
Out of 300 deputies, 254 of them voted, respectively 176 in favor, 76 against and 2 abstained.
However, the approval of the draft law came with the votes of 4 opposition parties, since many deputies of the conservative party in power did not appear for the vote.
Greece becomes the first Orthodox country to allow gay marriage.
