US President Donald Trump held a press conference, speaking about the Israel-Iran ceasefire and the attacks on Gaza.
A Ukrainian journalist asked Trump about missile defense systems. After the president asks if she's from Ukraine, she says yes - and adds that her husband is in the country serving as a soldier.
"This is a tough one. So let me just tell you that they want to have anti-missile missiles. We'll see if we can get some of them. You know, they're very hard to get. We need them... we were supplying them to Israel and they're very effective, 100% effective ," Trump said.
Trump said that Ukraine's defense systems are very difficult to secure, but admitted that he would consider making some available, but they are 100% effective.
"That's a very good question. And I wish you the best of luck. I mean, I can see that it's really bothering you. So, say hello to your husband. Okay?" he added.
