"Get a shovel and go dig," Trump and Hegseth against the Secret

US President and Secretary of Defense clash with American Intelligence...

President Donald Trump has dismissed US intelligence reports suggesting that air strikes on Iran's Fordow nuclear complex have only "delayed" Tehran's nuclear program and not "destroyed" it.

At the press conference after the NATO Summit in The Hague, asked by a reporter about the early intelligence assessment, which claims that the target was not completely destroyed, Trump said: “ They didn’t see it, all they can do is guess. The fire and brimstone are underground. The whole area is black with flames .”

Sticking to his narrative, Trump declared again: “ The nuclear material is gone. Just wait until the truth is known .”

The reporter added a direct question: “What message do you have for the intelligence community regarding the raw intelligence?” – Trump replied curtly: “ Wait until you know the answer .”

At that point, Trump invited Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to speak. The latter lashed out at CNN and the New York Times, accusing them of “deliberately distorting information to harm Trump and the country.”

" The spies who leak information have agendas. All the evidence of the bombings is buried under a mountain ," Hegseth said, repeating claims of total victory over the Iranian program.

Hegseth then directly attacked the US intelligence report. “ The report is classified as 'low credibility' because all the evidence is buried under a mountain, destroyed and missing ,” he said.

Referring to the target in Fordow, Hegseth said wryly: “ If you want to make an assessment of what happened in Fordow, take a shovel and dig very deep .”

He continued: “ This is why Iran immediately sat down at the negotiating table, because their capabilities have been pushed back further than they ever thought possible. This is thanks to the courage of a supreme commander who led our troops, regardless of what the ‘fake news’ says.

Just a day ago, CNN revealed an internal US intelligence report, in which experts express serious doubts about whether the US strikes actually managed to disable key Iranian targets. According to the report, the latest attacks did not affect the most sensitive elements of the nuclear program, and no independent evidence proves that the target at Fordow was completely destroyed. /Pamphlet
