G7 leaders have condemned Iran's attack on Israel and reaffirmed full support for Tel Aviv.
Also, after today's meeting, it was announced that the G7 will work to stabilize the situation in the Middle East.
"With its actions, Iran has moved further towards destabilizing the region and risks provoking an uncontrollable regional escalation. This should be avoided," said the G7 president, the Italian representative, Antonio Tajani.
Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said, among other things, that he hopes Israel will show restraint in its response to Iran.
The White House also released a photo during the meeting, which shows US President Joe Biden talking to G7 leaders.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Middle East Coordinator Brett McGurk are also in attendance.
In a post on X, the White House said the leaders "condemned Iran's unprecedented attack against Israel and reaffirmed the G7's commitment to Israel's security."
The meeting was called to discuss what Biden called an "urgent diplomatic response" to Iran's attack.
