The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations has published an updated list with the names of 29 people identified as among those killed in the Crocus town massacre in Moscow. The news is announced by Ria Novosti.
According to the latest data from the Russian Investigative Committee, a total of 133 people were killed in the terrorist attack.
133 people were killed, among them 3 children, and over 140 others were injured, 60 of them in a serious condition, in last night's (March 22) terrorist attack at a concert near Moscow.
The Kremlin announced that 11 people have been arrested, including 4 suspected aggressors, for the shooting massacre. While Putin, in an appearance today, this was an attack of cowards.
Putin declared March 24 a day of national mourning. Referring to the perpetrators, he emphasized that they "headed for Ukraine, where a waiting window had been prepared for them", adding that "the criminals went out to kill in cold blood, to shoot Russians on contact, just like them. All the authors, organizers and executors of the terrorist attack will be punished with justice".
In turn, the Islamic State jihadist organization claimed responsibility, via a post on Telegram: "Islamic State militants attacked a large gathering of Christians in the city of Krasnogorsk on the outskirts of the Russian capital, Moscow, killing and wounding hundreds and causing destruction of across the country before retreating safely to their bases".
The Islamic State has released a photo claiming to be the four attackers yesterday in Moscow. Photos of the four have been covered up, as Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attacks, saying it is part of those countries fighting Islam.
