Iran's Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, condemned the US attacks as "ugly" and said Iran is reserving "all options to defend its sovereignty."
"The events of this morning are horrific and will have lasting consequences. Every member of the UN should be alarmed by this extremely dangerous, illegal and criminal behavior ," he wrote in a post on X.
Araghchi added that the US has "committed a grave violation" of the UN charter as a member of the UN Security Council.
