In Greece, investigations are continuing by the authorities to find the killer of 27-year-old Anastasia, who was found dead on Sunday evening in Kos, where she recently worked in a hotel. From the evidence so far, it appears that the young woman died from suffocation, while the main suspect, but has not admitted anything - is the 32-year-old from Bangladesh, who is held under the charge of kidnapping the 27-year-old and for violent sexual relations.
After confessing that he had sexual contact with the girl in a drunken state, the 32-year-old appears to have been the last person to meet the unfortunate girl, while the possibility of an accomplice is being investigated.
In the last few hours, as part of the investigations, the roommate, a Pakistani, has also entered the scene.
They "search" for phones
In addition to the mobile phone of the 27-year-old and the 32-year-old, the microscope of the authorities also includes that of Anastasia's 28-year-old compatriot, who also worked on the island of Kos. Meanwhile, the police are called to collect the pieces of the murder puzzle, to determine what exactly happened from the moment young Anastasia disappeared.
The fact that the body of the unfortunate girl ended up under the tree in Alykes remains a mystery. Stamatis Kambourakis, Kos Municipality's vice president for Civil Protection, said he and his team had passed the designated site twice on Saturday (ie, the day before the discovery of the young woman), adding that it was likely the body of the new one to have ended there on Saturday evening.
“I had spent two times with my team the day before. It's very strange. Maybe someone moved the body there Saturday night. Additionally, the operation involved trained dogs and drones. If she had been there before, someone would have seen her or the dogs would have noticed. It is quite a visitable area. There are visitors who go on horseback tours and see the migratory birds. Thus, if someone were to transport the girl, he would do so at night because in the morning it would be very difficult because of the people", he emphasized.
According to the information, the 27-year-old woman, who went to the 32-year-old man's house at 20.40 on Monday night, allegedly contacted her partner one hour and twenty minutes later, informing him of her location.
The sensational element is the revelation that the 27-year-old allegedly told her Polish partner that she felt uncomfortable because she thought she was in danger, and in fact the murdered girl was allegedly asking him to take her from the 32-year-old's house.
