Rescuers are scrambling to find survivors under the rubble after a tragic earthquake killed more than 2,100 people in Morocco. It is reported that in the village of Tafeghaghte, it is confirmed that 90 people have died and many others are under the rubble.
But the hope of finding more survivors in this village is fading, given the catastrophic collapse of buildings that were not built to withstand such an earthquake.
Foreign media reports that so far the number of victims has reached 2,122, while around 2,421 people are injured, of which 1,404 are in serious condition.
Excavations under the ruins continue, while the number of victims, according to experts, is expected to increase again. Morocco has announced three days of mourning after the tragic earthquake, while today the flags are lowered to half-mast.
