A total of three journalists were killed in Israeli airstrikes in Gaza and Lebanon on Wednesday.
The Israeli military announced that it had eliminated a Hamas terrorist who was acting in the capacity of a journalist, while Wednesday's attacks in Gaza and Lebanon killed a total of three journalists.
Muhammad Samir Muhammad Washah, who worked as a journalist for the Al Jazeera news network, was, according to Israel, a key terrorist at Hamas's missile and weapons production headquarters, and was also involved in the production and transportation of weapons through Gaza.
Also, according to the Israelis, he actively participated in planning attacks against IDF troops and posed a specific threat to forces in the area.
Washah was killed when his car was targeted by an Israeli drone strike in Gaza City.
In Lebanon, separate Israeli strikes killed Ghada Dayekh, a presenter of Sawt Al-Farah, and Suzan Khalil, a journalist at Al-Manar TV and Al-Nour Radio.
These killings come amid intensified Israeli bombing across Lebanon, just hours after a ceasefire between Iran, Israel and the United States, including more than 100 attacks launched within minutes despite ceasefire announcements.
