Amazon's cloud computing service in Bahrain has suffered damage after an attack attributed to Iran, according to a source cited by the Financial Times.
Earlier, Bahrain's Interior Ministry announced that an operation was underway to extinguish a fire at a company's premises, as a result of what it described as "Iranian aggression," without providing further details.
The attack comes a day after Iran's Revolutionary Guard warned it would target American companies operating in the Middle East, including Microsoft, Apple, Google and Meta.
According to the report, the target of the attack was Amazon Web Services (AWS) installations in the region, which have been targeted several times during the conflict.
For its part, Amazon has not commented on any specific attack.
