Israel's Supreme Court has rejected a petition filed by the Almagor Terror Victims Association to stop the hostage deal, the Times of Israel reports.
Earlier today, an association filed a petition to stop the implementation of the agreement, claiming it violated the terms of a 2012 prisoner exchange report.
The report states that only a "small number of prisoners held by Israel can be released for every Israeli prisoner returned," according to local media.
Under Israeli law, families of victims of crimes committed by prisoners to be released during the swap have 24 hours to object to the deal.
