Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned residents of Gaza City to leave immediately, hours after Israel said it would increase airstrikes.
Reuters reports that the Israeli prime minister said: "I say to the people of Gaza, seize this opportunity and listen to me carefully: leave now!"

We recall that today gunmen opened fire at a bus station in East Jerusalem, killing six people and wounding others.
At the scene of the attack, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said: "Let it be clear: these killings strengthen our resolve to fight terrorism."
"We are now engaged in pursuit and are surrounding the villages from which the killers came. We will catch whoever helped and sent them, and we will take even stronger steps."
