The United Arab Emirates and Jordan have begun a new round of airstrikes on Gaza, delivering aid and food.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced today (Sunday) a "local tactical pause" in military operations in the Gaza Strip, aimed at facilitating humanitarian aid to the civilian population.
According to the official statement, the break will last from 10:00 to 20:00 every day, until further notice.
Gazans have welcomed reports of a temporary humanitarian pause allowing food and medicine to enter the besieged enclave, but many say the aid must be the start of a broader, lasting solution to the deepening crisis.
For months, Gaza's population of more than two million has faced extreme shortages of food, clean water and basic medical supplies, while bombardments and border closures have brought daily life to a standstill.
