Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has denied plans to assassinate Iran's supreme leader.
In an interview with Fox News, the Israeli leader said: "There are so many false reports of conversations that never happened and I'm not going to go into that topic."
"But I can tell you that I think we're going to do what we need to do. And I think the United States knows what's good for the United States," he said.
Netanyahu also said the attacks will end "when we eliminate" Iran's nuclear capabilities.
Recall that US President Donald Trump vetoed an Israeli plan in recent days to assassinate Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
According to foreign media, one of the sources said: "Have the Iranians killed any Americans yet? No. Until they do, we're not talking about pursuing political leadership at all."
Who is the supreme leader of Iran?
Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, serves as commander-in-chief of the armed forces and controls the Revolutionary Guard. He has the final say on all major policies in the country.
Israeli attacks on Iran have killed at least 406 people and injured 654 others.
