The head of Ukrainian military intelligence has said that the increase in the production of bombs by Russia, as well as the shipments of artillery ammunition from North Korea, present major problems for Ukrainian forces on the battlefield.
Kyrylo Budanov stressed that North Korea's military aid to Russia represents the greatest concern compared to the support provided by Moscow's other allies.
"They supply large quantities of artillery ammunition, which is critical for Russia," he said, pointing to increased battlefield hostilities following such shipments.
Ukraine and the United States, among other countries and independent analysts, say North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is helping Russia fight Ukraine by supplying missiles and ammunition in exchange for economic and other military aid from Moscow.
