A conspiracy theory has ignited the web after the debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, with the latter said to have used headphones, which are hidden in the form of pearl earrings.
The conspiracy theory says Harris wore a set of Nova H1 audio earrings, made by German startup NOVA Products, during the first presidential debate between her and the Republican candidate, which was hosted by ABC News at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia. on September 10.
The clip-on earrings, according to the startup's Kickstarter page, are placed on the earlobes and project sound from inside the pearl straight into the ear canal. It adds that two small, high-end microphones are built into each earcup, providing the user with crystal-clear phone calls and wind noise cancellation.
Unveiled at the CES [Consumer Electronics Show] in Las Vegas, Nevada, in January 2023, these Bluetooth wearables feature directional sound that allows for privacy.
“Every audio output is absolutely private; so you're the only one listening to your conversations and music,” says the product description on the Kickstarter page.
The theory immediately set the web ablaze, with Republican supporters accusing Kamala of cheating and not following the rules of the debate. These doubts increase even more after her appearance in the debate, which, according to the media, managed to do better than her rival, which was not expected at all.
